This Cookie Preferences page is a working draft, written in plain English to describe how KohiShifa actually works today. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer and may change before commercial launch. Clauses we already know need specialist review are marked “Requires professional legal review before launch”.
The short version
Cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, let a website remember small pieces of information on your device. KohiShifa uses them only where they’re strictly necessary to provide something you’ve asked for — nothing to measure, profile or advertise to you. That means there is nothing to opt out of.

What we store
This is the complete list of cookies and browser storage used by KohiShifa. Some items only appear when you use the related feature — for example, sign-in cookies only exist once you log in.

What we don’t use
- No analytics. We don’t use Google Analytics or any similar service, heatmaps or session recordings.
- No advertising or marketing cookies. We don’t run ads, retarget visitors or work with ad networks.
- No tracking pixels or social media trackers, and no “like” or “share” buttons that load code from other companies.
- No third-party scripts or fonts. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page doesn’t send requests to font or script providers.
- No fingerprinting. We don’t try to identify your device by combining technical details about it.

Because we only use strictly necessary storage, the optional categories below are switched off and can’t be turned on — there is nothing behind them. You can still tidy up what’s stored in this browser.

These controls only affect the browser you’re using now. Signing out removes the sign-in cookies, and your browser’s settings can remove everything at once, as described below.
Controls in your browser
You can view and delete cookies and site data for kohishifa.com in your browser’s settings, usually under “Privacy”, “Site settings” or “Cookies and site data”. Clearing site data signs you out, resets your theme and erases any demo data. Private or incognito windows clear this storage automatically when you close them.
If you block all cookies, signing in won’t work, but you can still read the website. If your browser blocks local storage, your theme choice and demo changes won’t be remembered between visits.
Third-party websites
We don’t load code from other companies on our pages, so no one else can set cookies through KohiShifa. When the AI companion is enabled, your messages reach Anthropic through our server, so Anthropic doesn’t place cookies in your browser either.
Our pages link to some external websites — for example, crisis helplines on our Wellness Disclaimer. Those sites have their own cookie and privacy policies, which apply once you visit them.
Changes to this page
If we ever want to add analytics or any other non-essential cookies or storage, we’ll update this page and our Privacy Policy first, and we won’t set anything non-essential without asking for your consent. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this page last changed.
